Peter Veit worked diligently to put himself through school, eventually becoming an engineer. He vividly remembers the struggle it took to work, study, and pay for his education—long days and night studying and trying to make ends meet. Now, Peter wants to help others facing the same challenges.
Grateful for the overwhelming care he experienced from expert nursing staff at Edward Hospital, Peter decided to include the Edward Foundation in his estate plans. He chose to make a bequest of an "Educational Enhancement Scholarship." His gift will one day enable many nurses to receive financial assistance for their educational purposes.
Peter’s legacy will impact many, well into the future. "It will be my thank you gift to them," he said. Thank you, Mr. Veit, for your generosity and foresight.
